Geegraf Nickel Reinforced Graphite

 

A graphite sheet material that is easy to cut on-site, available in one metre square sheets or cut gaskets. The material comprises two outer layers of graphite foil with a central nickel core 0.026mm thick. The layers are bonded together in-house with a unique high temperature adhesive bonding system that does not delaminate during punching, storage and use.

  • Standard Carbon content 99% minimum.

  • Thickness range 0.4mm to 4.0mm.

  • Exceptional resistance to chemicals.

  • Easily cut by traditional methods.

  • Maximum service temperature 500 °C in oxidising conditions.

  • Maximum service temperature 1000 °C in inert and reducing conditions.

  • Maximum service pressure 140 Bar.

  • Can be used at cryogenic temperatures.

  • Recovery 10 to 15%.

  • Compressibility 40 to 50%.

  • Sheets can be branded to suit customers individual requirements.

    Good Flange design parameters and correct gasket fitting procedures should be adhered to, with maximum temperature and pressure guides not being used simultaneously.

Large diameter gaskets can be water jet cut in segments with dovetail joints.
