Geegraf Graphite Foil

We have a distribution agreement with a large Japanese graphite manufacturer Toyo Tanso Company Ltd to supply a high quality graphite foil into the UK. Market. Toyo Tanso was started over 50 years ago and has four manufacturing plants and an extensive research facility devoted to graphite development for applications in Electrical, Metallurgical, Mechanical, semiconductor and sealing applications.

An area of concern in the use of graphite foil is the oxidation resistance of the material at elevated temperatures above 400 Deg. C. this has been investigated in detail by Toyo Tanso and careful control of the manufacturing process has resulted in the rate of oxidation being reduced to less than half that of existing grades. In a flange assembly only the outer edge is subjected to oxidising conditions and no problems have been experienced with Geegraf foil and laminates on oxidising conditions up to 600 Deg. C. In inert or reducing conditions Geegraf foil can be used up to 2,800 Deg. C.
