Geegraf Polyurethane Reinforced Graphite

 

A polyurethane graphite sheet material that is easy to cut on-site, and available in one metre square sheets or cut gaskets. The material comprises two outer layers of graphite foil with a central polyurethane core. The layers are bonded together in-house,and does not delaminate during punching, storage and use.

  • Standard Carbon content 99% minimum.

  • Thickness range 0.4mm to 4.0mm.

  • Ultra thin polyurethane file reinforcement.

  • Easily cut by traditional methods.

  • Conforms readily to flange surfaces.

  • Used on sight glass assemblies and metal to glass applications

  • Maximum service temperature 500 °C in oxidising conditions.

  • Maximum service pressure 100 Bar.

  • Compressibility 40 to 50%.

  • Recovery 10 to 15%.

  • Sheets can be branded to suit customers individual requirements.

    Good flange design parameters and correct gasket fitting procedures should be adhered to, with maximum temperatures and pressure guides not being used simultaneously.

Large diameter gaskets can be water jet cut in segments with dovetail joints.
