At Gee Graphite being "first" goes with principles of vision, innovation and commitment. It is therefore hardly surprising that the company's profile cutting service installed the UK's first Water Jet cutting unit in 1991.

This sub-contract installation was a major investment. It brought impressive operational advantages and allowed the company to enhance their profile-cutting service beyond the parameters offered by conventional cutting technologies. The equipment is able to cut virtually any sheet material with extreme precision and produces stress-free cuts without distortion or heat-affected zones.

The cutting edge of technology is backed up by state of the art CAD/CAM systems that can scan, vector bitmap or tablet digitise the most complex profiles. Customers can have the cutting geometry created from artwork and non-dimensional shapes or they can supply files for direct input in CAD/CAM compatible formats.

The company offers Water Only Cutting and also Abrasive Water Jet Cutting. Each cutting method has particular characteristics and advantages. Gee Graphite technical staff will be pleased to advise on the most suitable system for any particular project. The company has the largest UK capacity with nine machines and with multi-headed machines prototypes to large scale volume production runs can be accomodated.
